The Bendix 107506 Tu-Flo 550 is a direct-replacement air brake compressor for heavy-duty trucks with Cummins ISM, N14 and M11 engines (Core Class 1B). It is a two-cylinder, single-stage reciprocating compressor rated at 13.2 CFM at 1250 RPM, supplying and maintaining pressurized air for the air brake system and auxiliary air devices.
The compressor is built from two main subassemblies: the cylinder head and the crankcase. The cast-iron cylinder head houses the inlet, discharge and unloader valves, with the air inlet port and both top and side discharge ports. A discharge line safety valve protects the head if the discharge line freezes, and Bendix end-of-line tests every air brake compressor. The remanufactured 107506X is supplied with the gear and gasket kit for a complete installation.
